Jeff Tippens
Jeff's practice focuses on real estate, wills and estate planning, business organizations, administrative law, and general civil litigation.  Prior to joining Scanlan, Buckle & Young, Jeff worked as an attorney with a large central Texas law firm for seven years, representing electric, gas, and telecommunication companies in litigation, state and federal regulatory proceedings, and transactional matters.  

From 1999 to 2000, Jeff served as Briefing Attorney to the Honorable Justice Mack Kidd on the Texas Court of Appeals of the State of Texas, Third Judicial District.  Jeff received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 1999.  He was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1999.  Prior to law school, Jeff received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, summa cum laude, from Abilene Christian University in 1996.  Jeff currently serves on the Advisory Board for Capital Area AIDS Legal Project Services of Austin (CAALP) and is a past President and board member of the Avenue Lofts Condominium Association.
