In 2004, Doug Young and other attorneys with the firm obtained a summary judgement and temporary injunction against construction of a big box store in violation of Austin's SOS Ordinance.   That case resulted in the purchase of land with sensitive environmental features over the Edwards Aquifer. 

In 2006, Tom Buckle and Doug Young obtained a summary judgement on behalf of the Village of Volente to prevent a large development for which grandfathering rights were claimed.
